The ICU and CCU cares for patients with the most severe and life-threatening illnesses and injuries, requiring constant close monitoring with the support of special equipment and medication to maintain normal bodily functions. The facility has operated as the core centre in the hospital for new modalities and medical approaches since its opening in 2000. It currently maintains a 6-bed capacity serving both medical and surgical patients, with plans to expand to 10 beds.
